Michael V. thanks ‘Pepito Manaloto’ viewers amid rumored finale

Michael V. seemed to have further intrigued fans on the fate of his hit GMA TV series “Pepito Manaloto” after the lead star shared the cast’s group photo as well, saying the show is “more than just a fictional family on TV.”
Days after his co-stars’ tributes to the show, the actor, who plays the titular character, spoke about the family they built on set, through his Facebook page on Wednesday, April 17.

The comedian included in his post the group-hug photo first shared by fellow actor John Feir, adding Colton Dixon’s “Not Goodbye” as the background music.

“‘Pepito Manaloto’ is more than just a fictional family on TV. It’s a real family that extends to its cast, writers, staff, crew, the network and most of all, our beloved audience,” Michael V. said in the caption.
“Maraming, maraming salamat po sa oras at pagmamahal ninyong lahat,” he concluded his post, opting not to expound on the purpose of his post or address the rumored program finale. (Thank you so much for your time and love.)
Michael V.’s post earned support from netizens, most of whom are avid viewers who appealed for the show’s continuation amid the ending speculations.

“Pepito Manaloto” first aired in March 2010, had a season break during the height of the pandemic in 2021, then returned in 2022.
Prior to this, GMA Network was sought for comment on the matter, and it said there was no official announcement yet.
