Is it true that Donny Pangilinan tried to pursue Kathryn Bernardo?

A source of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan “nanligaw” to Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

After Kathryn’s much-talked-about breakup with Daniel Padilla, several male personalities were linked to her. She was spotted having her late-night jog with A-list actor Jericho Rosales and this created speculations that they are leading to that romantic way.

Then, the actress was being shipped to her Hello, Love, Goodbye co-star Asia’s Multimedia Alden Richards because recently, they were spotted together more frequently.

Ogie Diaz previously said that according to his source, Jericho Rosales and Alden Richards are already courting Kathryn Bernardo. He also said the family of the actress prefers Alden as her suitor.

In a recent episode of Ogie’s Showbiz Update vlog, he mentioned that a relative of Kathryn revealed why her family is “boto” to Alden rather than Jericho. It is because the older actor already got married and separated. Kathryn’s family is worried that she will have the same fate.

Then, Ogie revealed that aside from Alden and Jericho, a “young actor” also tried to pursue Kathryn. “How true—patanong na lang kasi baka naman i-deny tayo—na minsan pala ay pinormahan nitong young actor si Kathryn? As in niligawan,” he said. It was said that this happened after Kathryn’s breakup with Daniel.

The talent manager-vlogger even cited the viral video in which the young actor was offering Kathryn a drink. This happened during Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda’s wedding party.

Ogie said that it is up for the young actor to confirm or deny this. “‘Yun ‘yung nakarating lang sa akin. Ngayon, na kay Donny na ‘yan kung gusto niyang aminin na minsan pinormahan or niligawan niya si Kathryn, kaya lang naudlot,” the talent manager-vlogger said.

However, Ogie said that he does not know the reason why the courtship did not continue.
