Mavy Legaspi Reacts To Kyline Alcantara-Darren Espanto “Ship”

Mavy Legaspi says he has no problem with Darren Espanto

Kapuso actor Mavy Legaspi has this reaction when asked about the shipping that fans make for Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara and Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto.

Mavy and Kyline were previously linked to each other. They were known together as MavLine. Together, they did several projects together.

It was rumored that they were in a relationship with each other but it was also rumored that they broke up. Their loveteam was also dissolved and they started doing separate projects.

Kyline Alcantara just recently guested on It’s Showtime, in which Darren Espanto is one of the hosts. They had their funny moment in the said show. After Kyline’s performance, host Kim Chiu said that the Kapamilya singer was intently watching her while she was performing.

Kyline jokingly teased the supposed reason for that. Then, host Vice Ganda quipped that next time, Kyline and Darren will sing the song We Are Family. To recall, Darren was linked to Mavy’s sister Cassy Legaspi but they both clarified that they are just best friends.

During Kyline Alcantara’s guesting on the Kapamilya noontime show, some fans shipped her and Darren Espanto.

In a recent interview, based on that article Balita, Mavy Legaspi was asked to react to the Darren-Kyline ship. The Kapuso actor stressed that there is no problem between him and the Kapamilya singer.

“I have no problem kasi Darren and I are very close friends. Again, what you see on TV is what you get. Pero behind closed doors, nagme-message message kami ni Darren so we’re very good,” Mavy shared.

Previously, Mavy also defended his mom seasoned actress Carmina Villarroel whose meaningful posts on social media became controversial. He said that his mom’s posts were not connected to any issue.

To recall, Carmina was accused of posting “patama” to Kyline Alcantara and Darren Espanto. In a previous interview, Cassy spoke about the issue and she also clarified that her mom really loves to share Bible verses and quotes and that those were not directed to anyone.
