ALEX GONZAGA – The actress-vlogger shares a house update and the reason why it’s still not finished four years after.

Constructing your dream house does not only require lots of money but also a lot of time, patience, and consistency. Over four years since Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada tied the knot, their house is remains unfinished and in her recent vlog, she shares an update and explains the reasons why this has been taking a lot of time.

To recall, the property is a wedding from the parents of her husband. They demolished the house that had been already standing and they started from scratch. From the looks of it, their house would seemingly be massive.

In a previous article, Alex shared a house update quipping “100 na tumbling na lang”. She also thanked her parents who are her contractors in her dream house construction. In the new video she shared, she discussed the reasons why it’s taking them long to finish the house.

According to her, apart from the fact that the pandemic has happened, other essential factors also contributed to the reasons why construction is taking a long time. The pandemic caused a delay from the restriction and protocols they needed to follow and such.

But the other reasons why included requirements and permits for the construction and the others. The subdivision where their house is being built is a high-end subdivision and is quite strict and demanded a lot of requirements.

She added, “At the same time, nasabayan kami ng pandemic, mga delayed shipping pero normal naman talaga yun sa mga construction na maraming delay. Tsaka in a way, nade-delay rin akong mamili ng mga gamit para rin delayed ang gastos.”

Alex shared that the actual construction started in 2021 when everything has been demolished. It is going to slowly but surely and they seem not to be in a rush. Currently, they are living in Alex’s condo while their house is not yet finished.

She shared a glimpse of the house and the house looks like it’s still not halfway through completion. In her video, she shared the other parts of the house like the kitchen, laundry area, and staircase. She also showed the viewers the designs of the areas from the look of the kitchen to the curved windows and the archway of their house.
