Cebu-based actress Kaye Abad reveals that she had a hard time moving on when she and this famous actor broke up.

To recall, famous actress Kaye Abad moved to Cebu where her husband, Paul Jake Castillo, is based, after they got married. This is where they are also raising their two sons Joaquin and Iñigo.

After their marriage, she also lied low in show business and focused on her simple life in Cebu. She shared that she married a guy whose family is “not into a lavish [lifestyle].”

As a public figure, we know some parts of her life, especially before her marriage and it is not a secret that among her past boyfriends is John Lloyd Cruz. According to her, this is the same person she actually had a hard time recovering from when they broke up.

Why? This was because after their split back then, they had to work on a television series. She recalled that while they were doing Tabing-Ilog, they were no longer together.

“So nahirapan ako mag-move on kasi magkatrabaho kami, magka-love team kami. Umabot sa point na magasawa kami sa ‘Tabing Ilog,’ so nahirapan talaga [ako],” she said.

Soon after their relationship ended, he had a girlfriend and he was avoiding her as the new girlfriend was getting jealous. She understood this part but what just really made everything hard for her was the moving on part as they were required to see each other for work and they were a love team making things a bit more challenging.

She admitted this in an interview and added that during that time, she still had feelings for him as they did not broke up not because there was no love. She refused to reveal details about their split and she also did not disclose who the girlfriend was after their split. She just shared that the girl is a politician’s child.
