Alden Richards talked about his viral video with Kathryn Bernardo

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards broke his silence on his rumored romance with Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

The rumor linking Alden and Kathryn started to circulate just recently when the Kapuso actor was one of the guests of the Kapamilya actress at her birthday celebration in Palawan.

He was also invited to the post-birthday celebration for Kathryn. Videos of their sweet moments together at that party circulated online. With this, speculations about the real score between them are hyped up.

In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Alden Richards set the record straight about his rumored romance with Kathryn Bernardo.

“I was invited and siyempre, it was part of her post-birthday celebration with friends and family. Masaya naman,” he said about his presence at that event. He also said that it was a happy experience and that it can be seen that Kathryn is happy right now.

Then, the actor was asked to reveal the real score between him and Kathryn, and he said, “What you see is what you get.” He added that there is no need to always share this kind of matter on social media.  

“You know, sometimes ‘yung mga personal things that’s happening, better be personal na lang,” he stressed.

Alden also shared that since the time when he and Kathryn worked together in the 2019 movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, they remained friends.

Meanwhile, HLG director Cathy Garcia-Sampana also reacted to the rumor linking Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. She said that it just so happened that they were recently together and people should speculate something because it does not mean that if a man and woman are together, they are already in “ligawan” stage. The director also expressed that she wants Kathryn’s love life to take a rest.
