MARC PINGRIS – Former Philippine Basketball Association star player Marc Pingris has denied romantic involvement with actress Kim Rodriguez.

Marc Pingris, who wed Danica Sotto, daughter of TV personality Vic Sotto and actress Dina Bonnevie, in 2007, has three children: Jean Michel, Anielle Micaela, and Jean-Luc. On Thursday, March 28, Pingris refuted rumors connecting him with ABS-CBN actress Kim Rodriguez.

Despite social media photos suggesting otherwise, Pingris denied any romantic involvement with Rodriguez.

In a Filipino statement on his social media, Marc Pingris clarified that there is no truth to the news about him and Ms. Kim Rodriguez. Nothing is going on between them contrary to what people are talking about.

He wrote, “Walang katotohanan ang mga lumalabas na balita tungkol sa amin ni Ms. Kim Rodriguez. Walang namamagitan sa aming dalawa gaya ng sinasabi ng ibang tao.”

As a member of the 40 Greatest PBA Players and a former Gilas Pilipinas mainstay, Pingris currently competes for Biñan Tatak Gel Beast in the Pilipinas Super League. He travels nationally for exhibition games with his team and internationally with PBA Motoclub, a squad comprising former PBA players.

Pingris explained that he was with Kim at a basketball event and at another event when she served as their team muse.

Expressing concern for his family’s well-being, Pingris urged respect to shield his children from undue influence. He emphasized, “My family and I are okay. Let us refrain from spreading news that are not true.”

Pingris concluded his post with a request, “Humihingi po kami ng respeto at para hindi madamay ang mga anak namin ni Danica. Salamat po at God bless po.”
