Elizabeth Oropesa Says Fernando Poe Jr. Was Her Best On-Screen Kiss
ELIZABETH OROPESA – Actress Elizabeth Oropesa disclosed Fernando Poe Jr. was the best kisser among her leading men.
Elizabeth Oropesa stands out as one of the most brilliant talents of her era, having garnered numerous accolades in acting from prestigious institutions such as Gawan Urian, FAMAS, and others. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with esteemed directors like Ishmael Bernal and Joel Lamangan, as well as accomplished actors including Gloria Diaz, Daria Ramirez, Chin-chin Gutierrez, and more.
During a recent episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the seasoned actress reflected on significant moments from her career, notably recalling her portrayal in the 1980 film “Si Malakas Si Maganda At Si Mahinhin,” where she took on the role of a lesbian alongside Alma Moreno.
Regarding their intimate scene, Elizabeth Oropesa expressed her indifference to public opinion, stating, “[It] never really bothered me na kung ano ang sasabihin ng mga tao. Hindi talaga ako ganoon eh. As long as I’m doing my job, and not only that, it was just a kiss, and it was my role. And I knew how to kiss very well, even up to now, actually.”
Proudly noting that the scene was accomplished in just one take, she complimented Alma’s beauty, humorously remarking, “She’s very beautiful. If I’m a lesbian, I’d fall in love with Alma. My goodness. Lalo na nung kabataan niya, ‘di ba? So it was not difficult at all.”
When asked about the best kisser among her co-stars, Elizabeth revealed it to be Fernando Poe Jr., disclosing, “Ngayon revelation ‘yan na ngayon ko lang nasabi kasi patay na si Ate Susan, nahiya naman ako baka mapagdudahan [ako]”
Describing FPJ as “beautiful” and an excellent kisser with irresistibly soft lips, she contrasted his style with industry rumors, suggesting that the most skilled kisser was George Estregan.
“Beautiful, best kisser. And the lips, my God, so soft,” she said. “Disente siya humalik. Ang tsismis noon na lumalaganap sa industriya, ang pinakamagaling humalik ay si George Estregan. Kasi totoo naman, napakagaling din naman ni George with matching laway na lumalabas.”
