Jennica Garcia talked about her decision to go back to acting

Actress Jennica Garcia revealed what she realized after her breakup with actor Alwyn Uytingco.

Jennica and Alwyn were blessed with two children. They decided to separate ways in 2020. From that, the actress started her showbiz comeback. When she and Alwyn got married and started their family, she took a break from showbiz.

In a recent interview, based on the article in PUSH, Jennica admitted that her separation from her estranged husband made her realize that she loves acting. With this, she returned to being an actress.

“Yung nahiwalay ako sa asawa ko talaga. Natatawa nalang ako ngayon [pero] hindi nga, doon ko lang narealize na [gusto ko mag artista],” Jennica Garcia said.

When she returned to acting last year, that was when she realized that she loved this job. She also shared that she has a new-found love for acting because of her kids as she is a single mother now. “Before, the reason why I wanted to work was because I wanted to buy toys. Pero yung reason ko now is I have two kids,” the actress shared.

She added that she has a different drive now and maturity. When she was younger, Jennica shared that she was not mindful of the expenses because she had a lot of work. She took that aspect for granted.

However, she has learned from those past experiences and now she knows how to give value to things around her.

Jennica Garcia also acknowledged that because of her mom, Jean Garcia, it was easier for her to establish her name in the entertainment industry. This is something that she is grateful for. Unlike other artists, she did not go through auditions in order to get a project.

Jennica’s role in the defunct Kapamilya series Dirty Linen reminded the viewers that Jean Garcia’s blood is running in her veins.
