Pinoy Internet Sensation Francis Leo Marcos Released After Spending Nearly 4 Years in Jail

The popular internet personality Francis Leo Marcos happily shared the news of his release after spending almost four years in jail.

In 2020, Francis Leo Marcos, also known as FLM, earned install popularity after introducing himself as a rich businessman dedicated to helping those in need. He even claimed that he is related to the Marcos family.

The social media personality launched the ‘Mayaman Challenge,’ encouraging other wealthy individuals to contribute to charitable programs.

However, a few months after rising to fame, he was arrested over his alleged involvement in various illegal activities including alleged violations of the Revised Optometry Law of 1995, child trafficking charges dating back to 2006, and the use of fake identification.

The authorities also claimed that Francis does not own the properties he showed in his Facebook Live broadcasts.

Recently, the self-proclaimed philanthropist went live on Facebook expressing his joy at regaining freedom. He was seen alongside his legal counsel outside MMDJ during his release. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

“NAKALAYA NA ANG AGILA ANO KAYO NGAYON EH DI WOW!!THANK YOU LORD!” he exclaimed in his Facebook post.

In another heartfelt post, FLM dedicated an emotional speech to his followers and expressed his gratitude to the people who supported and believed in him. The public figure claimed that has forgiven those who were responsible for his imprisonment

“Wala na pong pait sa puso ko, nilinis ng Diyos ang puso ko, masyadong malinis. Ang sabi nila ‘hindi ka ba gaganti?’ ang sabi ko, ‘hindi na,” he said.

Marcos quickly reconnected with his fans through Facebook Live after his release. He is also planning to distribute sacks of rice to his followers.
