Alden Richards Reacts To Heaven Peralejo’s Comment On Him As Director

Heaven Peralejo talked about working with Alden Richards

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards has this reaction to actress Heaven Peralejo’s comment on him as a director.

Alden and Heaven started working on their first movie together titled Out of Order. Aside from being the lead actor in this film, this also marked Alden’s directorial debut. Previously, the actor shared why Heaven was chosen to be his leading lady.

He said that the actress was highly recommended not just because of her acting skills but also her passion for her craft.

In an interview, based on the article in GMA Network, Heaven Peralejo was all-praises for Alden Richards. “He’s a first-time director pero he knows what he wants. He’s really like one of the best directors I’ve ever had,” the actress shared.

When Alden knew about this, he was happy to hear good words from his leading lady. “Kinilig ako,” he said. The actor added that this is also what he feels every time there’s someone who calls him “direk.”

Then, Alden shared what he learned from two directors he worked with recently. He worked with direk Irene Villamor in the movie Five Breakups and a Romance and direk Nuel Naval in Family of Two.

Alden said that he got a lot of pointers from them. He shared that in directing, one does not have to be academic. “It’s about experience, how you want the project to be seen,” he added.

The Kapuso actor also expressed gratitude to the whole team because he acknowledges that this is a team effort. He would just say what he wants in a scene and the team will work for it.

When asked about his dream directorial project, Alden Richards said, “Gusto ko po talaga gumawa o makapagdirek po ng psycho film.”

Aside from Heaven Peralejo, Alden will also do a movie with Anne Curtis.
