Rica recounted how they ran out of Graham biscuits. She and her colleagues searched for Grahams in the nearby store but no stocks were available at that time. Her cousin suggested using half a packet of crackers.

“Nung time na ina-assemble na po namin yung graham, hindi ko po alam na kukulangin po pala eh kaso sobrang dami pa po nung condensed mixture. Nag-try din po akong magpabili ng graham kung saan saan kaso po wala na po talagang mabilhan. Kaya sabi ko po sa pinsan ko okay na yung kalahating pakete ng [crackers] bahala na sa lasa,” she shared.

Unaware of the flavor outcome, Rica took the risk with half a packet of crackers, hoping for the best. She was surprised by the unexpectedly delicious taste. “Yung lasa hindi namin inaasahan na parang bumili kami sa cafe store kahit nilaro lang namin yung gawa naming graham,” she added.
