No more Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion concerts next year?

The concert of former couple Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion on February 13, 2024, was cancelled, a report stated.

Sharon and Gabby brought happiness to ShaGab fans when they announced their reunion concert. The much-awaited performances of the former couple happened last November.

The two of the brightest stars of their generation brought their Dear Heart concert in Cebu after their successful Manila concert.

In Cebu, based on the article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin in Abante, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion mentioned that they will be having a concert next year. It was said that this would happen a day before Valentine’s Day and will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena.

According to the plan, this concert will be titled ‘P.S. I Love: The Next Chapter’. However, Lalin said that there is no chance that this concert would push through. A source told the columnist, “Hindi na rin kakayanin. Almost January na, wala nang time to promote and sell tickets.” 

It was also said that there is a slim chance that the ShaGab concert abroad will happen. Lalin said that it is “sayang” if the concert of Sharon and Gabby will not happen because there had been many inquiries abroad about their concert.

“Sa ngayon nga kasi ay imposibleng matuloy raw ‘yon. Na baka matatagalan pa nga kung sakaling maaayos ang mga problema at pumayag silang mag-concert tour, ha!” the entertainment writer shared.

Just recently, Sharon Cuneta talked about her past marriage with Gabby Concepcion. They tied the knot in 1984. However, in 1987 they legally separated. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, actress KC Concepcion.

Sharon mentioned in a recent interview that she was thinking about how her life would have been if she remained alone after her breakup with Gabby. With this, it was speculated that she and her current husband Kiko Pangilinan were having a conflict.
