AAA Fabulous Award was awarded to Daniel Padilla but allegedly received this from the crowd.

Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla was allegedly booed at the Asian Artists Awards 2023 during his acceptance speech.

Former reel to real couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla accepted an award at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2023 in Philippine Arena, Bulacan. They were awarded the AAA Fabulous Award.

They received the awards separately and they gave their acceptance speech separately as well.

With grace and so much cheer received from the crowd, Kathryn took that opportunity to thank everyone who patronized Filipino movies and series. She is sharing the award with everyone.

As for Daniel, he did not obviously receive cheers as loud as Kathryn but he was still able to deliver his acceptance speech smoothly. He was actually the first one called to give his acceptance speech, and he appeared to be a bit thrilled to be recognized by the Asian award-giving body.

However, there was a change in his expression amid his speech that made him seemingly just cut it short to get it done and over with.

“Magandang gabi po sa inyong lahat. Annyeong! Ayun, siyempre, maraming-maraming salamat. Thank you sa AAA. Everyone, maraming salamat sa inyo. Enjoy the night and good night,” he said.

However, although it was not clear in the video, there were people online claiming that he was booed and was even called a “cheater” by someone from the crowd.

This received mixed comments. While some say he deserved it because of the issues after the KathNiel split has been confirmed, others believe that he is undeserving of such disrespect.
