Christopher de Leon explains dilemma of directing Vilma Santos

The romantic drama “When I Met You in Tokyo” was originally meant to be shot in Italy, but “Japan is so colorful and photo-worthy,” according to its lead actor Christopher de Leon, who is also the film’s associate director.

Christopher explained that their team actually went beyond Tokyo, “[We needed] to shoot some scenes in the beautiful countryside.
