Joey de Leon shared this short video amid the recent Eat Bulaga trademark issue update

Henyo Master Joey de Leon caught the attention of many netizens because of his post about respect.

Joey once again used his talent in playing with words with his message after the recently released decision by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL) favoring TVJ over the Eat Bulaga trademark case.

Despite that decision, Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) stressed that they will file an appeal and they will continue to use the title with the hope that it is the TVJ who will not use the title for now before the final decision is released.

TVJ and the Dabarkads stressed the value of “respect” after this decision was released. It is known to many that it was Joey de Leon who coined “Eat Bulaga” and he supported this with a story published in the coffee table book of the noontime show.

Following the decision, the Kapuso noontime show indeed continued the use of the title and this was despised by the avid fans of Eat Bulaga and the original host TVJ and Dabarkads.

In a recent Instagram post, the Henyo Master also shared his post about “respect.” In the short video he shared, it was focused on his shirt with the word “crEATor.” “Well, I don’t expect respect from RES-FAKE!” the Henyo Master said.

In the comment section of his post, Joey and the Dabarkads received support from their fans who have been with them for many years. Some congratulated TVJ and Dabarkads for IPOPHIL’s decision in favor of them while some said that no matter what the other camp will do, the fact will still remain that Eat Bulaga belongs to TVJ.
