This rumor surfaced about the It’s Showtime Suspension

It’s Showtime Suspension – Rumor has it that this will be a new show that will air on October 14 to temporarily replace the Kapamilya noontime show.

In early September, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) released a decision suspending the Kapamilya noontime show due to Vice Ganda and Ion Perez’s viral icing incident.

MTRCB also released the violations, warnings, and complaints against It’s Showtime. The Kapamilya noontime show filed a temporary restraining order and so it continued airing.

Before September ended, MTRCB released a decision junking the noontime show’s motion for reconsideration.

This saddened the hosts and staff of It’s Showtime like Chinita Princess Kim Chiu who reacted after their appeal was denied by the MTRCB. However, she showed optimism amid this problem. She believes that they will be able to surpass this.

In a recent article by Pang-Masa entertainment writer Salve Asis, she mentioned that rumors surfaced that the It’s Showtime suspension will take effect on October 14 and this will last until October 27.

However, as of writing, the MTRCB has not released an official statement yet about this matter. Asis also mentioned that a new show will replace the Kapamilya noontime show temporarily. The columnist even said that the new show will be an ABS-CBN and GMA collaboration.

“Ang chika, papalitan daw muna ito ng bagong show na musical din pero wala pang sinasabi kung sino ang magiging mga host. Pero bongga raw. Kung totoo, collab daw ito ng ABS-CBN at GMA,” Asis wrote in her article.

The entertainment writer added that the same It’s Showtime staff will work under the new show. With this, Asis said, “kaya’t walang mawawala ng trabaho.”
