Lara Quigaman Shares Video Joining Beauty Contest In Eat Bulaga
LARA QUIGAMAN – Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman shared an old video of her joining a beauty contest in Eat Bulaga.
Former and current “Dabarkads” took to social media to honor the Philippines’ longest-running noontime program “Eat Bulaga” and its main hosts Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
After the three seasoned hosts announced their departure from producer Television and Production Exponent (TAPE) Inc. on Wednesday, a number of celebrities who served as “Eat Bulaga” hosts shared their gratitude and thoughts.
The noontime show will carry on with new hosts, according to TAPE, Inc. on Thursday. A letter shared on Instagram Stories by host Pauleen Luna said that the remaining “Eat Bulaga” hosts and production team have also quit TAPE Inc. Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Wally Bayola, Ryan Agoncillo, and Allan K. are a few of the signatories.
Joey de Leon also shared the viral resignation letter of his fellow EB hosts. It came with a caption, “SIGNS OF THE TIMES.”

In a post on her Instagram account on June 3, Lara Quigaman posted an old video of herself competing in the Eat Bulaga beauty contest. The competition was called “TeeVee Babe” and it was an old video.
The actress-beauty queen commended the show for having a significant influence on her path to Bb. Pilipinas. She also said that that’s where she first met Piolo Pascual. Late Master rapper Francis M was also seen in the video. It just proves that the video is very old.
“Eat bulaga was part of my pageant journey… it became a stepping stone for me to join Bb Pilipinas after placing as 1st runner up in TeeVee Babe. Dito ko rin unang nakita at minahal si Papa P @piolo_pascual at kahit di kami nagkatuluyan, lahat naman ng katangiang hinahanap ko sa isang lalaki nakita ko kay Papa M @marcoalcaraz…”
“Salamat Eat Bulaga, naging malaking bahagi kayo ng buhay ko… hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang magagandang karanasan at ala-ala galing sa inyo. EAT BULAGA forever,” she added.
