A female teacher intern penned a heartfelt appreciation post for her grade 7 students who gave her gifts and letters.
Netizens have been touched by a heartfelt appreciation post shared by a teacher intern named Nicole Ann Lique Vacal, where she expressed her gratitude to her Grade 7 students. The post quickly goes viral online.
In her post, Nicole shared that she did not expect to receive gifts, letters, and surprises from her students during her On-the-Job Training (OJT). She did not inform them that she was leaving the school as her OJT had ended.
“During that time di ko po expected na may mga students talagang magbibigay po sakin ng mga ganyan (gifts, letters, and surprises) hindi ko rin po kasi talaga sila in-inform na aalis na ko ng school dahil tapos na nga po ang OJT ko,” Nicole said.
Nicole said that she simply wanted a photo with her Grade 7 students as a keepsake, but she was surprised by their heartfelt gesture. She discovered later that her cooperating teacher, Ma’am Rhea, had informed her students that it was Nicole’s last day in the school, prompting them to prepare the surprise.
Vacal expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by her students and cooperating teacher. She did not expect to receive such love and appreciation from her students, but their gestures made her OJT experience truly unforgettable.
The post quickly went viral, with netizens expressing admiration for the students’ thoughtfulness and kind hearts. Many praised Nicole for her dedication to teaching and for inspiring her students to be creative and expressive.
“Nalaman ko na lang na ‘yung Cooperating Teacher ko po Si Ma’am Rhea, siya yung nagsabi sa mga bata na last day ko na nga po sa school kaya nila ginawa din yan, I really appreciate lang din talaga yung efforts na ginawa ng students ko para sa akin pati na rin po ng Cooperating Teacher ko,” she added.
