Marikit: A home for unique talents

A new talent management firm emerges in Marikit as established by its CEO, Joseph Aleta.

Their aim is to help emerging talents from different parts of the country establish a foothold in the entertainment industry.

Said Joseph, “Ang kaibahan namin from other talent agencies eh ang desire namin to tap talents not only here in Luzon but also in the provinces including Mindanao and the Visayas.”

“To add to that, Marikit is basically a home, a loving home where everyone, every talent, is considered family,” he added.

Among acts in their roster is newbie Charles Angeles, an 18 year old model from Quezon eager to make a mark as an actor.

He shared, “Bale nagsimula po ako sa social media, then sumali rin ako sa mga pageants at modelling. Sa ngayon po nagte-train po ako as actor. I’m thankful na kinuha po ako ng Marikit at naniwala sila sa aking kakayahan.”

Then there’s 19-year-old Angelika Santiago.

“I’m willing to try anything po in terms of acting,” she said. “I’ve been in this industry since I was a child, but now I want to do more. I want to be known po more as a dramatic actress.”

Also part of Marikit is Kyle Ocampo.

The former child actress, who eked notice as part of “Munting Heredera” years ago, is now 17 years old.

“I’m honored to be part of the Marikit family because they share my dreams and aspirations,” Kyle told us.

Marikit also manages several, more established names, including awarded actress Barbara Miguel, “Starstruck” alum Jeremy Luis and all-male group Masculados.

Barbara maintained, “I like my partnership with Marikit because I want to exercise more freedom as an artist. Ayoko nang nakakahon and they promised to help me with that.”

Jeremy related, “Totoo yung sabi nila, Marikit is like family and I feel confident na with them, I will go places.”

Abangan ninyo yan.”

“At this point, we are working hard to establish the branding of our artists. Pretty soon you’ll see more of them,” enthused Joseph. “Our company is not built on promises. We are here to work hard and do good for our artists.”
