Beauty Queen Andrea Victor Gets Electrocuted During Pageant

The beauty pageant contestant identified as Andrea Victor gets electrocuted during her performance at a pageant.

A contestant in a beauty pageant who was competing in the Miss Sahuayo 2022 competition in Michoacán, Mexico, managed to endure a somewhat shocking experience last weekend.

In a feathered national costume, Andrea Granados Victor was parading down the runway when she reached for a microphone with her right hand. But as soon as the device made contact with her skin, it became clear that something was seriously wrong because an electrical current was coursing through her convulsing body.

The audience saw the 22-year-old contestant spinning backward while attempting to remove the microphone in the now-viral footage that was recorded at the event. Eventually, the model is able to release herself from the malfunctioning apparatus.

“We were live when she received a strong shock, Miss Andrea just received a strong electric shock from the microphone. They are already taking care of her,” a pageant competitor.

While medical personnel surrounded Victor to make sure she was okay, the pageant briefly stopped. Victor only received burns to the hand where she held the microphone, but not seriously hurt.

Social media watchdogs lambasted the event organizers before the unexpected incident for the lack of safety and inadequate planning that almost had terrible consequences for the candidates.

When the pageant resumed, Victor entered the stage and finished her performance with thunderous applause.

“I came back recharged — literally, hahaha, I want to share with you that after undergoing some medical tests, I can say that I feel fine. Thank God, it did not go beyond a burn,” Victor said.
