Richard Gomez Daughter Juliana Wins Fencing Competition In Thailand
RICHARD GOMEZ – The daughter of Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres, Juliana Gomez won an open fencing competition in Thailand.
Juliana Gomez is the only daughter of the celebrity couple and politicians Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres. Both of her parents are currently working as public servants in the country.
Lucy is a mayor in Ormoc City while Richard is Leyte’s representative. Her dad is known to excel in lots of sports such as basketball, fencing, and volleyball. In fact, Richard is a Gold Medalist in fencing during the Southeast Asian Games in 2005.
In a previous article, Richard Gomez disclosed the reason why he’s not showing his awards to his daughter Juliana Gomez. He said, “‘Yung acting trophies ko, sa iba’t ibang part ng bahay namin. Ayoko kasi na ilagay sa isang eskaparate lahat ng awards ko because I didn’t want to show it to Juliana.”
The veteran actor added that he does not intentionally want to keep his awards but he does not want his unica hija to feel intimidated.
The 22-year-old athlete just brought honor to the Philippines and her dad can’t be any happier and prouder.

Juliana Gomez just won an open fencing competition in Thailand. Richard Gomez took to his IG account on November 26, 2022, to share the exciting news. He also shared footage taken from the event.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “Congratulations @gomezjuliana for winning the Thailand Open Fencing Championship today. May you keep on winning and bring more honor to the country.”
In a previous interview, Juliana disclosed that she had been training in the sport under the supervision of her father, who serves as the Philippine Fencing Association’s president at the moment.
It has also served as one of their father-daughter bonding activities.
