Fire razes houses in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a residential area in Quezon City on Monday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

According to the BFP, the fire at Capoas St. corner Toktokan, Barangay Masambongwas raised to the first alarm at 1:11 p.m. and escalated to the second alarm at 1:16 p.m. before it reached the third alarm just a minute after.

Firefighters said the blaze was under control at 1:46 p.m. and put out at 1:59 p.m.

No injuries or deaths have been reported by the BFP as of this writing, but it said 13 firetrucks and two ambulances responded to the scene.
