Active COVID-19 cases in Quezon province down to 49

 

LUCENA CITY — The number of active COVID-19 cases in Quezon province to dropped from 112 to 49 on Wednesday.

According to the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), Lucena City, the province’s capital, had the most number of active cases with 11.

The latest data showed that 21 of the 41 municipalities in the province no longer have any recorded COVID-19 cases.

Those previously infected in the localities have either recovered or died, the IPHO report showed.

Quezon has so far recorded 183 new COVID-19 cases this month. It recorded 398 cases last month and 334 in September.
