Piolo Pascual on Possibility He’ll Be Part of ‘Monarch’ w/ Iñigo Pascual

Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual expressed how proud he is of his son Iñigo Pascual who got a part in the Hollywood series.

Iñigo is playing the character of Ace in Monarch, a series featuring a family of folk singers. In a previous interview, Iñigo shared his journey to Hollywood and how he was able to take this part.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Piolo said that he is indeed proud of his son’s international acting stint. The proud said that he always smiles every time he read an article about his son and even their relatives in the U.S. are proud of the singer-actor as well.

“I’m just really happy and I hope he continues to grow as an artist,” Piolo Pascual said. During the interview, the A-list actor also shared what his son told him about the possibility that he will be part of the series as well.

If Monarch will receive warm feedback from the audience, the second season will surely come. For the second season, the production is considering getting Piolo to play the father of Iñigo’s character.

“I don’t know whose idea it was. Pero sabi nga niya, if ever pag mag-grow ‘yung story, sabi nga niya, if they need… find a father of Inigo, sabi nga niya sana raw ako. Let’s see,” the Kapamilya star said.

When asked if he will accept this project if ever it will be offered to him, Piolo Pascual said, “Let’s cross the bridge when we get there. It’s a different ballgame, you know. But, I’m there to support my son of course.”

Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual said that he hopes that the Hollywood stint of his son will continue. He also said that he will continue to support Iñigo Pascual and he will always believe in his son’s talent.
