DepEd building 325 temporary learning spaces in Luzon earthquake-hit areas

 

 

 

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 325 temporary learning spaces are being constructed in areas jolted by the magnitude 7 earthquake in Luzon last July, Department of Education (DepEd) spokesperson Michael Poa said Friday, three days from the start of the new school year.

“Doon sa Abra, which alam naman natin talagang naapektuhan ng napakalakas na lindol, we have downloaded the funds and are currently constructing 165 temporary learning spaces. Ongoing na po,” Poa said during a press conference.
