Suspicious Bag Left in Malate, Manila Causes Terror Among


MALATE, MANILA – The suspicious bag left at a public jeepney in Malate, Manila has caused fear among Filipino passengers.

A few days ago, the twin blasts in Isabela City, Basilan causes terror among the residents. The blasts causes damage to several establishments in the area.

Before the incident, an unidentified person wearing a yellow t-shirt with a cap has been caught on a CCTV camera leaving a plastic bag at Jollibee’s parking area. Another man left unclaimed baggage from one of the buses D’ Biel Transportation Co.

On Friday evening (June 4, 2022), the police authorities closed a road in Malate, Manila after a suspicious bag has been left in a public utility vehicle. The bag causes fear and terror among the commuters after the twin blast in Mindanao a few days ago.

The bag has been found at a jeepney parked near Manila Police District (MPD) Station 9 around 9:00 pm. The scared passengers immediately reported it to the police authorities for immediate action.

The police operatives opened the bag and found numerous rooster’s gaff inside. According to Pol. Lt. Col. Rodel Borbe, a male commuter gets off from the jeep at Pedro Gil St. while carrying “bayong” containing.

The cops believe that the bag owner is a “mananari” or gaff installer at a cockpit arena. The operatives have also removed the cord from the vehicle and the flow of traffic returned to its normal flow.

Currently, the authorities are searching for the jeepney driver.
