Sharon Cuneta is excited about her daughter’s new movie
Megastar Sharon Cuneta revealed something about the new international movie of her daughter KC Concepcion, the Asian Persuasion.
It has been a long time since KC did a movie and the said movie serves as her return to the big screen. This opportunity also brought happiness to Sharon and she proved once again that she is a very supportive mom.
In a recent interview, the Megastar revealed what happened when this movie was offered to her daughter, based on the article in PUSH. “Sa akin dumaan yun. Kasi Jhett Tolentino, who is a Grammy and Tony award-winning producer, offered me also a movie before kaya lang we had trouble finding people to finance it because he wanted me to star with A-list American actors. And it was so hard pero beautiful sana yung concept,” Sharon Cuneta shared.
Then, Sharon said that the producer came up with a project that will be directed by him. She is aware that this was first offered to Toni Gonzaga but due to the conflict of schedule, this did not push through.
“So sabi niya, ‘I’d like to talk to KC.’ Sabi ko, ‘Oo, this is how you get in touch.’ Sabi niya, ‘Baka hindi ako pansinin?’ I said, ‘No, no, no. I’ll message her to wait for your message and then you message her,’” the Megastar related.
Sharon said that after that, KC and Jhett talked, and since her daughter is a “full-fledged adult,” she made her own decision. As a mother, who is also an actress, the Megastar said that she is glad KC accepted the offer. “I’m very happy for her. She’s in good hands.” Sharon Cuneta said.
