Does this photo mean the Kapuso comeback of Willie Revillame?
Wowowin host Willie Revillame was recently spotted with GMA executive Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and this garnered speculations that the veteran host might be going back to the Kapuso network.
Rumors surfaced last March claiming that Kuya Wil regretted his decision to leave GMA. In February, the veteran host revealed that it was his own decision not to sign the renewal contract that the Kapuso network offered to him.
It is because he was already negotiating with the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) of his friend billionaire businessman Manny Villar. Rumor has it that Willie Revillame will become one of the TV executives of Villar’s media company.
However, a month after he left GMA, speculations circulated that Kuya Wil was already reaching out again to his former home network for almost seven years. It was alleged that he wants to go back but the veteran host debunked the speculations.
He said that it is not true that he will return to the Kapuso network. His game show is currently aired on the social media platforms of Wowowin.
Just recently, another round of speculations about the alleged return of Kuya Wil to GMA circulated because of the photo that was posted on the Facebook account of celebrity lawyer Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, based on the article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in NewsKo.
It can be seen in the photo that Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes was also there. However, Atty. Maggie said they were together for a “quick summer getaway.” “Walang project na pinag-usapan. Wala lang ito,” the lawyer added.
GMA-7 AVP Ms. Romina and Atty. Annette’s husband Shintaro Valdes were also with them. On the other hand, Atty. Maggie reirated, “Huwag kayong magduda. Bakasyon lang ito. Weekend getaway lang talaga naming lahat.”
