Pagasa: Rain showers expected in many parts of PH on Monday

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and the frontal system will trigger rain in parts of Northern Luzon.

(Because of the effect of the frontal system, Ilocos Norte, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.)

Meanwhile, the ITCZ will affect Palawan, Central and Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao.

(In Palawan, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected due to the ITCZ.)

(Because of the ITCZ, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will likewise prevail in Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao.)

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
