Lolo Narding Allegedly Jailed for Selling Mangoes to “Namamakyaw”

Viral elderly man Lolo Narding Floro was sent to jail by his neighbor for allegedly selling the mangoes to “namamakyaw”.

After selling the mangoes to a trader, Lolo Narding was accused of stealing 10 kilograms of mangoes from a neighbor’s tree. Nardo Flores called a trader to get the mangoes and sold them to him, according to Police Maj. Napoleon Eleccion Jr., chief of the Asingan Municipal Police Station.

According to the inquiry, the stated merchant purchased fewer than 10 kilograms of mangoes. In an interview with TeleRadyo, Eleccion revealed that whenever someone gives fruits, the merchant on a motorbike immediately buys them.

He added that Floro is claiming that the mango belongs to him so he called the seller. The trader harvested as Lolo Narding allegedly ordered him to take the mango and sell it.

The dealer and Lolo had agreed on a little sum in return for the mangoes. As a result, the old man’s neighbor lodges a complaint against him. Floro first claimed that he plucked the mango since he had planted the tree, but that the complainant had just walled it in.

The case went through confrontation and mediation, according to the police, after the complainants requested P6,000 from the elderly man. Floro had only visited the barangay once before being accused.

The grandpa was arrested on a warrant at Barangay Bantog on January 13 and detained at the municipal police station, according to the Asingan Public Information Office. The case went through confrontation and mediation, according to the police, after the complainants requested P6,000 from Floro.

Floro’s arraignment is scheduled on February 8, according to Eleccion. Only in court will it be known whether the complainant would refuse to settle the matter. Floro’s situation is particularly sad, according to Eleccion, because he only makes a livelihood selling vinegar and corn.
