Man Who Stole 8 Sacks of Case Records From RTC in Batangas Arrested

Police authorities arrested a man who allegedly stole eight (8) sacks of case records of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Batangas.

After taking 18 bags of case documents from Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 83 in Tanauan City, Batangas, a guy was detained. John Carlo Lumbres was recognized as the suspect.

A certain John Carlo Lumbres “forcibly opened and shattered” the jalousie window of the staff room where the case documents were housed, according to a spot report from the Philippine National Police (PNP). Lumbres smashed the glass of the courtroom’s staff room before stealing the case files.

He was “caught in the act” of stealing RTC Branch 83’s “sacks of case documents.” According to the PNP, he was riding a tricycle. He apparently rode his tricycle with the stolen vital documents.

However, officials apprehended Lumbres while he was still on the run. He was apprehended with the stolen case records. The items were handed over to the Tanauan City Police Station to be dealt with properly.

Meanwhile, the internet community is reacting to video evidence of unethical staff caught taking things from fire victims in Zapote. The message went viral almost instantly, eliciting a variety of responses from internet users.

The man who was documenting the event is seen addressing several government workers inside the firetruck for concealing stolen goods in the video. The items were reportedly taken from the victims of the fire.

The things were not stolen, according to the firetruck workers, who refuted the charges. The employee should also remove the stolen products from the truck, according to the video uploader. After then, the products were removed from the vehicle.
