Pampanga logs no new COVID-19 cases
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––All two cities and 19 towns of Pampanga registered no new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, data from its epidemiology and surveillance unit showed.
The province also recorded 15 new recoveries and no deaths on the same day.

Pampanga’s active COVID-19 cases stood at 73. Mexico town has the most active cases at 19, followed by Guagua at 11, and Floridablanca at eight.
Sasmuan, Apalit, Minalin, and San Luis towns remained free of COVID-19, while Magalang, Sta. Rita, Arayat, Sta. Ana, Candaba, Macabebe, Masantol, and San Simon have a single case each.

The province had registered 46,554 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 44,002 had recovered while 2,479 had died.
The provincial government said more than 170,000 individuals were vaccinated from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.
Local officials said the vaccination of eligible residents resulted in a drop in COVID-19 cases.
