Yassi Pressman had to release confined emotions for her new movie

talked about the sacrifices that she made for love during a recent interview for her new movie

More Than Blue

which a remake of a South Korean film.

Yassi plays the role of the female lead Cream whose best friend and soulmate K, played by JC Santos, has terminal cancer. One of the themes of the said movie is sacrifice.

The actress said that she can relate to the character of Cream because they are similar when it comes to dealing a problem or something that could hurt them.

said that she is not confrontational like her character, based on the article in The Philippine Star.

In the movie, she was surprised that she was able to pull out certain emotions that she has long been keeping inside her box. That was what her character made her do.

“

Kahit anong pain, ayaw niya nararamdaman, and that can be a curse and a blessing. It could be a curse because you don’t want to deal with what’s in front of you. And sometimes, by not dealing with it, yung tatahakin mong daan magiging iba sa kung ano mangyayari kapag kinon-front mo yung problem or kung ano yung alam mong nakakasakit sa ‘yo,”

the actress said.

When asked if there was a time that she sacrificed because of love, Yassi said that she has done a lot in the name of love.

“

Sobra po nga minsan, naiisip ko, masyado yata. Kasi that’s time eh, time that you lose for your family, time that you lose for other opportunities, and lahat naman tayo, gusto nating may mapuntahan yung mga sacrifices from our past loves, kasi yun po yung iniisip natin na pang-forever…”

she added.

On the other hand, Yassi Pressman said that she does not consider her sacrifices useless. It is because what she did in the past has brought her to the point that she could change her mindset and learn from that.

“So, for me, tiis and sacrifices na yun ay worth the time,”

the actress stressed.
