BASTE DUTERTE – Here are information about the personal background and political career of the presidential son and Davao City Vice Mayor.

There are popular surnames in the political arena and one of them is “Duterte”. It rose to fame when there was a massive call for former Davao City Mayor and now President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to run for the highest position in the government. His children are also in the political arena.

Born on November 3,1987 in Davao City, the complete name of the presidential son is Sebastian Zimmerman Duterte. He is the youngest son of the 76-year-old President with his estranged wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman. His mother has a German Jewish descent and worked as a flight attendant before. Before running for vice mayor of Davao City, Baste was vocal that he is not into politics. He is an advocate of nature and he is visibly an adventurous person. He is into surfing and he even launched his own reality TV show – the

on TV5. However, in 2019, he ran as the running-mate of his sister under

Hugpong ng Pagbabago.

They both won the election and as well as their brother, Paolo. He served as the “acting mayor” of Davao City twice.
