Leni Robredo’s Camp “KakamPink” Clarifies Paying Money to People Joining Campaign Caravans
The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo “KakamPink” denied that they are giving people money who join “Let Leni Lead” caravans.
The ‘KakamPink,’ or volunteer supporters of presidential candidate Leni Robredo, have rejected reports that they distributed the ‘reward’ in the middle of their statewide simultaneous procession on social media. Members of Team Leni Robredo (TLR) gathered in various locations across the country to campaign for Robredo’s presidential quest.

TLR allegedly paid incentives to the people they went through, according to a social network post. As a result, the group refuted it right away. According to them, such action occurred during their cross-country caravan.
“Matapos ang masusing pagsisiyasat kasama ang lahat ng team leads sa gma lugar na lumahok sa caravan, napag-alaman namin na walang ganoong aktibidad na naganap,” TLR said in a statement.
Robredo’s supporters have stated that bribing others for their support is unethical. They also encourage people to be more skeptical while spreading such material on the internet.
“Mariing kinokondena ng TLR ang anumang uri ng pamimili ng suporta at nananawagan kami sa publiko na mas maging mapanuri sa pag-share ng mga ganitong uri ng impormasyon sa social media,” it added.
After a netizen reported that the “KakamPink” offers money to people who join the caravan, the team issued a response. This photo, taken by journalist Manuel Mejorado, shows a “Let Leni Lead” sticker, a Fudgee Bar, and a P100 in an envelope.
People, on the other hand, were outraged by the message because Mejorado had previously been convicted of libel and sentenced to more than ten years in prison. This is another instance of pro-government elements smearing the opposition through dirty politics.
