119 more COVID-19 deaths in PH bring death toll to 39,624
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 119 more patients succumbed to COVID-19 complications, according to the Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 39,624.
The deaths compose 1.49 percent of the 2,666,562 confirmed cases of the disease in the country. It also accounts for 0.82 percent of the total deaths worldwide.

According to Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 tracker, global deaths currently stand at 4,849,442.
Meanwhile, total current active infections in the country currently sits at 90,927, while recoveries are at 2,508,287.
