, slammed rumors saying that the actress has her political plans.

Rumors have been circulating since last year that the Kapamilya A-list actress is set to start her political career. Speculations about this surfaced because Angel has been active when it comes to his charitable endeavor, especially amid that pandemic. Based on the article in Inquirer, the actress also denied this in May last year during a live video call with actor Richard Gutierrez.

She also denied in September last year the speculation that she is aiming for a Senatorial seat as she warned those who were spreading wrong propaganda. Just recently, comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, also mentioned in his Showbiz Update vlog that he told Angel Locsin to run for Senator. The actress said that she is not for the position but she

will support someone who deserves to be in the Senate

Once again, Angel’s camp denied the speculation about her rumored political plan next year. Through his Instagram Story, Neil Arce reiterated that his wife is not interested in joining politics.

“To those who accused my wife of wanting to run this election just because she extended help to people in need, well, she’s sitting here in front of me watching TV while corrupt politicians are filing their COCs. What do you have to say for yourselves now?

” the businessman/film producer said.
