Cops arrest 5 drug users in QC, seize P136,000 worth of crystal meth

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics officers of the Quezon City Police District arrested five people on Monday during a shabu session in a house in Quezon City and seized from them 20 grams of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, with an estimated value of P136,000.

The suspects were identified as Joben Roque, 34; and Merlita Roque, 58; Archie Blancia, 25; Niño Cabio, 34; and Jennelyn Maghanon, 22.

They were arrested at Roque’s house in Barangay Sikatuna Village, Quezon City, at 5:45 p.m., after a citizen tipped off the police, alleging that a shabu session was taking place in the said house.

Aside from the shabu, the officers seized drug paraphernalia.
