Davao Oriental Hit by Earthquake with 3.6 Magnitude
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 3.6 magnitude quake in Davao Oriental, August 28, 2021.
Most of the time, quakes hit with no prior signs. Recently, several places in and out of the Philippines were shaken by quakes of different magnitudes.
Previously, in April 22, Phivolcs recorded a quake in a part of Zambales. It had a magnitude of 6.1. Strong shaking was felt leaving people fearing about the so-called “

Recently, a quake has hit a part of Davao Oriental, August 28, 2021. At 07:25 a.m., Governor Generoso was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6.
According to Phivolcs, the quake that hit a part of Davao Oriental was located at 05.89°North, 126.86°East – 121 km South 46° East of Governor Generoso with a depth of origin of 001 kilometers.
stated in its bulletin that no damage is expected of the said quake and as well as aftershocks. No intensity was recorded by the agency in the epicenter of the quake and its nearby areas.
