Groups donate med supplies to hospitals

Central Luzon’s premier hospital dedicated for Covid-19 patients — the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) — received medical supplies from World Medical Relief Asia (WMRA) to alleviate healthcare system crisis in dealing with surging coronavirus cases. The hospital was given isolation clothing, clinical drapes, blood transfer devices, oxygen tubing, face masks and sterile gloves. Earlier, JBLMGH, Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital in Guagua, Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center in Angeles City in Pampanga and Concepcion District Hospital in Tarlac received six units of mechanical ventilators from Bridges of Benevolent Initiative Foundation, Inc. (BBIF). WMRA and BBIF are charity groups sharing a common goal of helping people in dire need of medical attention.
