2 drug suspects nabbed in Lucena City buy-bust
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two neophyte drug pushers in a buy-bust operation here on Friday, police said Saturday.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena City police chief, identified the suspects as Manolito Hipana, 39, and Maryjoy Arellano, 23.
The suspects were arrested after selling a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Dalahican at around 4:30 p.m.
Authorities seized four sachets of shabu worth an estimated P10,600.
The suspects will face a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
