It’s packing maximum sustained winds of up to 30 kph near the center, and a gustiness of up to 160 kph.
“Karding” is moving west northwest at 30 kph.
PAGASA said light to moderate with at times heavy rains are expected over Zambales, Bataan, Lubang Islands, and the western portion of Pangasinan.
“Under these conditions, scattered flooding and rain-induced landslides are still possible, especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in hazard maps and in localities with significant antecedent rainfall,” PAGASA said.
The weather bureau said occasional to monsoon rains are still possible in the next 24 hours over the western sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas.
