Boy Abunda Trends On Twitter After BBM’s Camp Confirms ABS-CBN Interview

Boy Abunda is a trending topic on Twitter due to this statement from BBM’s camp

King of Talk Boy Abunda trended on Twitter on Saturday, January 22, after the camp of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos confirmed that he joined the presidential interviews on ABS-CBN.

This confirmation from BBM’s camp came after the former Senator turned down the invitation from GMA Network. The reason that BBM cited behind his decision to decline the interview in the Kapuso network was that he believes that seasoned journalist Jessica Soho is “biased against the Marcoses.”

With this, the camp and supporters of the presidential aspirant believe that the questions will just be focused on the “negative” issues against him. However, GMA disagreed with what Marcos has said against Soho. The home network of the Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho host defended her by citing that her excellence in her work is being recognized.

On the other hand, as it was previously mentioned in an article that the teaser of Boy Abunda’s presidential interview included Bongbong Marcos, the camp of the presidential aspirant confirmed on Saturday that he is indeed joining the ABS-CBN’s interview.

Based on the teaser, the interview will be released on Abunda’s YouTube channel (6 PM) and on the Kapamilya Channel (11 PM) from January 24 to January 28. Because of this, netizens have been mentioning the name of Boy Abunda on Twitter.

Some netizens said that the King of Talk should ask Bongbong Marcos the question that Jessica Soho should have asked him. There were also those who slammed the presidential aspirant for choosing to do an interview with the Kapamilya host but not with the Kapuso journalist.
