Netizens Praise Romantic Guy For Surprising Girlfriend w/ Grand Rooftop Proposal

A romantic guy goes viral online after surprising his beloved girlfriend of 12 years with a grand rooftop proposal.

A netizen named Martin Vizconde has surprised his girlfriend Madeline Dela Cruz with a grand wedding proposal after 12 years of relationship. The guy proved that romance isn’t dead yet.

Vizconde made the grand rooftop proposal last December 2021. The latter revealed that he planned the proposal very well and make that Madeline had no idea about the proposal. The couple was college sweethearts.

“Surprised siya kasi no idea siya at all, tinatanong niya ko bakit ang busy ko that day eh formal event lang naman ang pupuntahan namin sa hotel,”  Vizconde said.

The man revealed that his original plan is to make a helicopter-type proposal at a stadium but eventually changed his plans. He decided to make a grand proposal to make this event extra special for his future wife.

According to Martin, he had only one-day preparation to set everything before the proposal and made the event possible with the help of a wedding coordinator.  He surrounded Madeline with a sea of lights and a surreal setting created by celebrity event stylist Gideon Hermosa.

He also hired Side A’s Joey G to serenade his partner with “Forevermore” accompanied by Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. Martin paid for everything but the cost did not matter just to make his partner happy.

“Magkakaiba ang way ng pagpapakita ng pagmamahal, as long as pinaghirapan mo ang mga bagay, immesurable yan eh. ‘Yung thoughtfulness mo ang importante. Mararamdaman niyang mahal mo siya. Ginawa ko ito kasi ito ang sa tingin kong deserve ni Mads,” Martin added.
