Over 60% of Central Luzon cops now fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Some 9,441 or 60.6 percent of the 15,572 police officers in Central Luzon have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Health Service disclosed on Wednesday.

It said 12,966 police officers in the region have also received the first dose of the vaccine. The number represents 83.2 percent of the current PRO3 and regional support unit officials and personnel.

The health service said the police officers have been administered with Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna Johnson & Johnson, Sputnik V, and Sinopharm vaccines.

It said most of the police officers were vaccinated by local governments where they are assigned as frontline personnel in essential sectors under the A4 priority group.
