With the team’s lackluster performance in mind, a “shining” new captain was hired in hopes of changing their dynamic for the better.

“Compiled of a group of misfit officers who seemingly fell into their roles, management is looking to turn things around following the appointment of a new captain to the team. A shining star who’s excelled at everything he’s done, the fresh-faced captain has his work cut out for him,” the statement added.

Kim will star as police captain Dongbang Yubin while Park will portray the role of the carefree Seo Min-seo.

Also cast in the series are Park Ji-hwan, Seo Hyunwoo, and Lee Seungwoo.

The upcoming series will be directed by filmmakers Ahn Jong-yeon and Shin Joong-hoon.

Kim is a screen veteran best known for his performances in the K-dramas “Find Me in Your Memory” and “You Are My Spring,” as well as the films “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” and “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days.”
