Actor-politician Arjo Atayde said that he knew from the start that his fiancee Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza is “the one” for him.
Arjo and Maine are set to tie the knot this year. The celebrity is choosing not to divulge elaborate information about their wedding. However, it is known to ArMaine fans that the proposal that the actor-politician did was a big one.
Fans also knew their cute love story. Both Arjo and Maine confessed that they had crushes on each other even before their first official meeting.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Arjo Atayde shared that he already knew that Maine Mendoza is the one for him even at the beginning. “I can’t explain… I really knew it was her,” the Cattleya Killer actor shared.
Without trying to be “pa-sweet,” Arjo said that he and Maine really went a long well from the start. “I’m not trying to add any pa-sweet quotes on this but I was really… It was a smooth jive between us… Nag-swak lang po talaga kami,” he said.
The actor-politician even said that he did not just find a girlfriend but he also found a best friend in his soon-to-be wife.
Proposing to Maine did not give him second thoughts because he was always sure that he wants to spend the rest of his life with the actress.
“I proposed because I always wanted to. I was always sure… But to be honest, I knew. You would know. It’s no joke. Sabi ko nga, I’m not trying to be sweet, trust me. It’s really… Adults have their own love stories. They say the same thing, once you meet the person, you’ll just know,” he explained.
Arjo Atayde said that this was what happened to them. In an unexpected time and situation, they met and their love story began. He also shared that for many instances, he was supposed to meet Maine Mendoza already and eventually, this happened.
The actor-politician also said that his fiancee is the biggest blessing in his life, especially since they are getting married.
