Herlene Budol announced that she will represent the Philippines in an international pageant
Actress-beauty queen Herlene Budol received negative reactions to her post announcing that she will compete in Miss Grand International 2023 pageant.
Herlene, also known as Hipon Girl, is indeed a breath of fresh air in the beauty pageant arena. She surprised a lot of people with her transformation from being a funny girl to a demure lady on the pageant stage.
Many fans rallied behind her when she joined her first national pageant. She won the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up title.
That opened more doors for her in pageantry but it is known to many pageant fans that she went through a devastating experience in Uganda when she was supposed to represent the Philippines in Miss Planet International last year.
Just recently, the Kapuso star announced on her Instagram page that she will be competing in Miss Grand International 2023.
“Ito po ang inyong nag-iisang Magandang Dilag, Herlene Hipon Budol. Celebrity Actress, TV Host, Comedienne, Recording Artist, Vlogger, Bb. Pilipinas 2022 1st Runner Up. Sasabak ulit tayo sa mas engGRANDeng laban. Mas-bonggang patimpalak ng kagandahan!” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Then, Herlene Budol has this fiery statement, “Aanhin mo ang “PLANETA” kung hindi ka naman kaGrandahan!”
She also thanked everyone who helped her in achieving her goal when it comes to her pageant career.
