Anne Curtis Pays Tribute to Eat Bulaga Following Departure Issue

Anne Curtis Gives Reactions to the Controversial Issues of Eat Bulaga

It’s Showtime host and model Anne Curtis pays tribute to the longest noontime show Eat Bulaga following controversial issues.

Anne Curtis shared her thoughts on the iconic noontime show Eat Bulaga hosts leaving TAPE Inc. owing to a disagreement with the producers.  Anne stated in a video posted on Twitter by LionhearTV.net that she will always look up to the Eat Bulaga team as role model.

Anne, according to her, idolizes the Eat Bulaga hosts since they set the standard for variety shows. Anne, who is dubbed as “Annekabogable” is one of the hosts of the noontime ABS-CBN show “It’s Showtime.”

Anne made the comment while renewing her obligations as a UNICEF ambassador.  As of this writing, it is unclear whether the presenters will take the “Eat Bulaga” brand with them to another network or whether TAPE Inc. will retain that famous name.

“We will always look up to ‘Eat Bulaga!’. They are the longest running noontime show in the Philippines. “What a journey they’ve had up to this day. We will always idolize them. They have set the benchmark for noontime variety shows,” Anne said in the video.

Meanwhile, “Chinita Princess” Kim Chiu spoke out about what occurred to their rival’s noontime show Eat Bulaga. Kim is also the host of It’s Showtime, which airs on the Kapamilya network at the same time.

The actress was asked what she would say to the legendary trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon (TVJ) as they wave farewell from Eat Bulaga, according to the previous story. The actress added that change is unavoidable and that she has “high respect” for TVJ.

“Change is nandyan talaga yan eh. Parang hindi naman natin mababago yan. And then yung, high respect ng bawat isa sa TVJ is really there, kahit saan man sila mapunta or kung anuman,” she said.

“Susuporta at susuporta. Walang tao na hindi nakakakilala sa kanila. Sobrang taas po ng respeto natin sa kanila. Kung ano yung desisyon nila and whatever is happening sa… anong tawag dyan, sa base nila, it’s for them,” she explained.
